Good morning Oppo!

I had to track down an expense report of mine to see if it was approved t his morning and due to a bug in the tool  I had to just search all reports.

In the last 18 months I’ve traveled 17 times for work with expense reports totaling $26,595.05! That’s too much travel!

Well I at least get to some interesting places on occasion (favorite is Helena Montana). I have been to Philly 3 times in that window though so I also go to less than exciting places...

Picture from my most recent trip to Philly last week. The weather was at least fantastic while I was there.

I spent two months in Tyumen Russia on company dime one time, that was neat.

That definitely sounds like a interesting thing to do. Longest I’ve ever gone anywhere was 10 days and that was too long for my taste.

If you ever find yourself in Kalispell or the flathead valley hit me up. Helena is about 3.5 hr drive from here. It’s a cool town tho, there is decent food and beer in Helena as well as some of the best mountain biking in the state.

My business travel is usually to places like Wilmington DE, Atlantic City, or Utica, so your itinerary is definitely a step up.

I’m up to a trip about every 4-6 weeks or 10-12 trips a year. It wouldn’t be so bad if I lived near a major airport but all my trips start with a 1h 15 flight to Seattle or SLC, then transfer to my destination.

Yeah of all the places I've been Philly is my least favorite city so that's pretty good.

Yeah, it's exhausting. I started out hating how much I traveled but it's gotten better now that I commit to trying new food and seeing things when I travel.

Ouch, I’m just a 45 minute drive to STL, which has become a Southwest hub so I’m able to get almost everywhere wth a direct flight now.

I keep wanting to plan a ple asure trip to Montana and really get into it. When I end up in Helena I always stay an extra day or two and explore the national Forest and fish which is awesome. It is a really beautiful state though!

When I have a one hop flight I’m amazed at how easy it is.

It really is awesome. I’ll avoid transfers and layovers if I can and it’s pretty rare now that I can’t. It’s only small cities with regional airports (like Helena Montana) I can’t get to. Even mid market cities like Tampa, Cincinnati or Phoenix I can get to direct. Usually just 1 flight a day but that  gets it done for me.
